Clash Group, a digital advertising agency, has bought Vendari, a Europe-based coupon comparison site operator. Clash Group did not say how much it paid for the firm.

The deal will enable Clash Group to use Vendari’s intellectual property rights to launch later this year a coupon comparison site in the United States, Clash Group says. The company also plans to expand its mobile and digital advertising services.

In a larger sense, Clash Group says the deal will enable its transition to a full-service digital advertising services provider.

“To add Vendari to our business at a time when coupon offers are on-trend is a great move not only for Clash Group, from a commercial perspective, but for advertisers who are looking for an integrated, targeted campaign that can really drive customers through the door and present an increased ROI from their media spend,” says Tore Erickson, chief revenue officer at Clash Group. “This acquisition is an added dimension in our aim to offer advertisers a fluid campaign that is coherent in not only the way it is designed and developed, but in the campaign delivery too.”
