‘Hablamos español’ now at FTD

The flowers and gifts retailer now offers a Spanish-language version of FTD.com.

FTD.com expands its reach with a Spanish language web site.

FTD Group Inc. has rolled out a Spanish-language version of the FTD.com web site. The web site is now live at http://es.ftd.com/.

Consumers who visit FTD.com in Spanish or English now can send flowers, plants and gifts to most countries in Latin America.

“We have long recognized the importance of the Hispanic market to the flower and gift business,” says Rob Apatoff, president of FTD, No. 71 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide. “Our new Spanish-language site features the same products and pricing as the existing English-language site.”

FTD provides floral related products and services to consumers, retail florists and other retailers in the U.S., Canada, the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland. The retailer sells online at FTD.com in the U.S., FTD.ca in Canada and Interflora.co.uk in the U.K.

FTD Group is a subsidiary of United Online Inc.
