Floral arrangement e-retailer From You Flowers LLC has acquired the assets of SendFlowers.com from Stanley’s Flowers, which has been selling flowers and gift baskets online since 1997.

FromYouFlowers.com CEO Michael Chapin says the acquisition will increase the company’s share of the online flower and gift industry, although the e-retailer intends to continue to operate both e-retail sites. “The addition of SendFlowers.com marks another significant step for us, building our company’s capabilities and further expanding the platform from which we reach and serve our customers,” Chapin says.

From You Flowers did not say how much it paid for the family-owned and -operated SendFlowers.com.
