CREATETHE GROUP Names Scott Forshay Director of Mobile Strategy

Mobile Commerce Evangelist Joins World’s Leading Digital Agency for Luxury and Premium Brands

NEW YORK--CREATETHE GROUP today announced that renowned mobile commerce expert Scott Forshay will join its Morpheus Media division as director of mobile strategy. A mobile marketing and commerce strategist specializing in the fashion industry segment for prestige and luxury brands as well as couture houses, Forshay’s insights and expertise have empowered brands to leverage the transformative capabilities of the mobile medium. An established thought leader, his missives on the mobile evolution can be found on mobiluxe.wordpress.com.

“Luxury and premium brands must embrace mobile to keep pace with tech-savvy, hyper-connected affluent and aspirational consumers. With Scott on board, we can help them find new and innovative ways to create spectacular, exclusive experiences for discriminating shoppers.”

Forshay’s appointment will deepen the firm’s mobile capabilities across its rich services roster and within its powerful digital commerce platform, CTS PLATFORM.

“Very few luxury and premium brands know how to implement mobile commerce in a truly impactful, meaningful way,” said Forshay. “However, they are beginning to understand that the mobile medium is completely different than the stationary Web and provides a unique opportunity to better engage affluent consumers in a more relevant, time-sensitive and personalized manner. I am excited to help our clients better understand and execute the four core pillars of an optimum mobile strategy: location awareness, immediacy, personalization and social connectivity.”

Previously, Forshay served as regional director of DBA Digby, a leading mobile commerce software firm owned by 30 Second Software, Inc., where he helped top brands such as Brooks Brothers, Tory Burch and Bed Bath & Beyond embrace innovative mobile strategies. Prior to that, he was a senior executive at Bazaarvoice, Inc., a top digital word-of-mouth and social commerce agency.
