Online retailer Costume Craze has added a gift card program for consumers in the giving spirit. Customers of the costume retailer can now purchase gift cards in any amount that never expire, according to the company. The gift cards can be printed and mailed to buyers, or they can be e-mailed to the recipients.
“Our system can promptly e-mail the recipient, providing fast delivery,” says Jeff Wiseman, vice president of marketing and business development. “This is a convenient feature, especially for last-minute shoppers.”
Gift cards are a popular option for e-retailers. 63% of the Internet Retailer Top 500 offer gift cards or certificates. Costume Craze, No. 480 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide, says it will offer cards featuring Halloween, Christmas and birthday themes.
