NEW YORK-Today eMusic has announced the appointment of Richard Caccappolo as the digital music services’ Chief Technology Officer. Richard brings over 20 years of experience in e-commerce, digital monetization, new media and product development. He has been recognized for leading the development of interactive and community features throughout his career.

In this position, Richard will lead eMusic’s network operations, engineering and product development teams. Richard most recently held the position of Chief Executive Officer of ORCA Digital Services, Inc. Before joining ORCA, Richard was President of Creative Commerce, LLC, an investment and advisory firm. Prior to these roles, Richard held the roll of CTO and SVP Product Development at iVillage Inc., where he managed technology, commerce, international operations, product development, business development and e-marketing.

eMusic has also added to its growing product development team. Adam Ingberman has joined the company as Vice President Content and Community. Adam has over 14 years of success in developing and launching online media products. Adam recently held the position of Vice President of Product Development at TheStreet.com, where he was charged with revitalizing the company's website experience and developing customer acquisition strategies to drive traffic and grow online subscriptions.
The company has released a steady stream of product upgrades to respond to members requests for new features. In April 2011, the company rolled out site changes to improve usability, including a UI change on artist pages which will make it easier for members to cycle through albums. This was a first small step towards the substantive UI and design changes that will support new product developments.
