CouponCabin.com has hired Richard Castellini as its chief marketing officer. He comes from CareerBuilder.com, which operates a web site for employers and job seekers.

At CouponCabin, Castellini will supervise all marketing efforts, including those related to social media. While working as chief marketing officer for CareerBuilder, he developed national ad campaigns, including TV commercials that were voted among the most popular in various viewer polls and network countdowns, according to CouponCabin. He also fashioned an e-mail marketing campaign featuring monkeys in a cubicle that went viral.

“We are thrilled to have a seasoned marketing veteran like Richard on board at CouponCabin.com,” said Scott Kluth, founder and CEO of CouponCabin.com. “We are so impressed with his work at CareerBuilder, particularly his ability to build online traffic, and are confident that his strengths are exactly what we need to make CouponCabin a household brand.”

CouponCabin attracted 8.8 million unique visitors in November, according to web measurement firm comScore Inc.

“CouponCabin.com is an amazing company that has grown tremendously in the past few years,” says Castellini. “I look forward to working with such a fresh, young company and continuing the growth and success that Scott and his team have cultivated.”
