J.C. Penney leads Internet Explorer availability ratings in April was tops in Firefox web site availability tests.

The site posted a 99.89% score in Firefox availability. averaged 99.98% availability in Firefox testing last month and 99.75% in Internet Explorer tests.

Six other retail sites (,,,, and tied with the second-highest Internet Explorer availability score (99.98%). came in second in Firefox testing at 99.96%. (99.95%) came in third and was followed by (99.94%) and (99.92%).

The average Internet Explorer availability for the 18 retailers measured in April was 99.88%, according to the Compuware Gomez Benchmarks study. The average Firefox availability for the same group of retailers was 99.63%.
