Add chewing gum from the William Wrigley Jr. Co. to the list of products that online shoppers can personalize. The consumer packaged goods manufacturer has launched what it calls it first custom packaging offer for the Extra sugar-free brand of gum.

Online consumers can visit MyExtraGum.com and upload photos and messages for the custom packs of gum. Shoppers also can select fonts and colors for the packs, and use suggested designs from the e-commerce site’s gallery for the personalized gum.

Consumers must order at least five packs of gum to take advantage of the MyExtra personalization feature. A custom pack contains 15 sticks of gum and costs $4.99, though prices decrease with bulk orders, Wrigley says. Shoppers can share their designs with other consumers on Facebook and Twitter, via links on the personalization pages.

“Not only is MyExtra an exciting innovation as Wrigley’s first every custom-packaging offer, but it allows us to help fans of Extra gum celebrate and share important moments in their lives, whether they are creating gifts, favors or personal keepsakes,” says Julie Goldman, a managing director at Wrigley.
