The North Face appoints a president of sales for the Americas

The apparel retailer promotes Todd Spaletto from vice president of sales.

Sports apparel retailer The North Face has a new president of the Americas region. The company, No. 267 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide, has promoted Todd Spaletto to the job.

He was vice president of sales, Americas, a job he held since 2004. Spaletto joined North Face parent VF Outdoor Inc. in 1998.

“Todd has a unique understanding of The North Face brand’s global business strategies and key account relationships, and we are thrilled to have him take on this role,” says Steve Rendle, vice president  at VF Corp. and group president, Outdoor and Action Sports Americas. “Todd’s deep connection to our culture and his natural leadership skills made him a strong and obvious choice for this important leadership position.”

Spaletto also has worked for JanSport, a backpack and luggage manufacturer and retailer that is a part of VF Outdoor.
