Jewelry company Charles & Colvard hires a leader for e-commerce strategy
Steven Larkin has executive experience at online retailers Golfsmith and Zale.
Charles & Colvard Ltd., an international distributor and marketer of gemstones, has appointed Steven Larkin to its board of directors, where he will lead the marketing committee and oversee the company’s e-commerce strategy.
Larkin works as senior vice president of direct to consumer at Golfsmith International Holdings Inc., which sells golf and tennis gear and is No. 242 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide. He also was executive vice president and chief marketing and e-commerce officer for Zale Corp., No. 189 in the Guide.

Larkin was granted 5,477 shares of restricted stock in Charles & Colvard on Feb. 1.
