NEW YORK CITY (Dec. 16, 2010) - Proving to be the preeminent matchmaker for

retailers and store owners, PopUpInsider.com successfully helped Lampe

Berger, the first name in French luxury home fragrance since 1898, open its

first swanky free-standing temporary store at 941 Madison Avenue at 74th

Street.

"This location offers the perfect demographic for Lampe Berger to brand test

in the busy holiday retail environment, boosting business for the whole

neighborhood," said Christina Norsig, founder and CEO of PopUpInsider.

"There are so many terrific French brands that don't have wide distribution

here in the US so bringing them here was somewhat of a no-brainer for both

the landlord and Lampe Berger. We're just happy we could make this marriage

official."

Located just steps away from the Whitney Museum of American Art, Lampe

Berger's pop-up store features the complete range of Lampe Berger's

exquisite fragrance compositions and beautiful signature lamps, each

considered a work of art in itself.

"This Pop Up Store gives us the perfect opportunity to create an enticing,

luxurious environment in which to share the Lampe Berger experience with the

people of Manhattan," said Cherry Robinson, Lampe Berger Vice President of

Marketing and Sales. "This Pop-up store creates a unique opportunity to

collect these extraordinary products never before available in such a wide

range together in the U.S."

The store also promises to be an integral part of the Upper East Side's

holiday season, hosting such events as a holiday cocktail party honoring the

Hamptons International Film Festival and screening of Audience Award Winning

film, Love Etc.

The store will be open from Friday, December 10th until Sunday, January

16th.

It’s action that matters, not the label

Jamie Nordstrom doesn’t use the term omnichannel, but the retail chain gets the concept.
