Digital marketing company SolutionSet has promoted Zain Raj to president and CEO, effective Jan. 1. He succeeds Jeff Haggin, who will become the company’s vice chairman.

Raj, who joined SolutionSet in July as president and chief operating officer, previously worked as CEO of Euro RSCG Discovery, the North American customer relationship management, analytics and database marketing division of Euro RSCG Worldwide.

In his new role, Raj will oversee the company’s more than 400 employees and six offices nationwide.

As vice chairman, Haggin will remain on SolutionSet’s board of directors where he will focus on business development, account support, mergers and acquisitions, and agency marketing.

“I believe in Zain’s vision, and our prospects for the future have never been brighter,” says Haggin.  “We have the integrated services platform, the experience, the ambition and the leadership to be even more successful. I’m proud to pass on the baton at this time and excited to continue to be a part of SolutionSet’s future.”

SolutionSet also promoted Bob Gaito and Jack Sturn to vice chairman and president, respectively, of the company’s data management group.

Gaito, previously president of the data group, will oversee the company’s new business growth and aim to promote innovations in the agency’s integrated direct marketing services division.

Sturn, previously senior vice president of client services for the data management group, will oversee the group’s day-to-day operations.
