LuLuLemon Athletica Inc., an online retailer of yoga apparel, has hired Kathryn Henry as chief information officer. She will oversee global information technology operations for the company, which is No. 398 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide.

Henry comes from Gap Inc., No. 23 in the Top 500 Guide, where she worked as vice president and chief information officer of international I.T. and Gap North America, LuLuLemon says. She has also worked as vice president of Dockers Business Divestiture and vice president of global I.T. strategy and development at Levi Strauss & Co., No. 337 in the Top 500 Guide.

“She has relevant international, e-commerce and vertical retail experience from years spent at Gap and Levis and has most recently spent time on her own personal training and postural alignment therapy business, making her a strong cultural fit for LuluLemon,” says CEO Christine Day. “We look forward to having Kathryn on board to develop an I.T. platform that will further strengthen our I.T. strategy and drive innovation, supporting our future growth initiatives.”
