Walmart.com, the e-commerce arm of Wal-Mart Stores Inc., is providing free home shipping through Dec. 20 with no minimum purchase requirement. The offer applies to about 60,000 products, including all electronics, along with many others such as toys, home appliances, jewelry and video games.

The holiday season free shipping offer expands on Walmart’s Site to Store program, which provides customers free shipping to a Walmart store on thousands of online items. Combined, these programs will save Walmart customers an estimated $25 million this holiday season, Walmart says.

“Customers are doing all they can to save money this holiday, so we’re excited to offer free shipping to home, with no minimum purchase requirement as an early Christmas present to them,” says Steve Nave, senior vice president and general manager of Walmart.com, No. 6 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide.

Eligible items are shipped for free via standard shipping and delivered to customers within three to five business days after the order is processed. Return shipping is also free. Customers also can return online orders to a local Wal-Mart store. Free shipping and returns doesn’t apply to Walmart Marketplace purchases made through participating retailers including CSN Stores LLC, eBags.com and Dreams Inc.
