LoyaltyOne Adds Two Partners to Support Expanding List of Global Clients

Stephanie Cohen and Fred Thompson join the firm that provides loyalty strategy services for retailers.

TORONTO (Sept. 30, 2010) – LoyaltyOne Consulting, an expert in customer loyalty strategies, today announced it has added two Partners to its expanding executive suite, each of whom will lead specialized divisions that oversee its growing roster of retail and financial services clients.

Stephanie Cohen has been appointed to the newly created role of Partner, Financial Services. Fred Thompson has taken the new position of Partner, Retail. Stephanie and Fred join LoyaltyOne Consulting after serving some of the largest and most recognized organizations in their respective fields.

LoyaltyOne Consulting designs customized solutions for Fortune 1000 companies. With almost 30 years of experience, its services include customer strategy, loyalty strategy and design, customer relationship marketing and industry benchmarking.

The executive additions follow the rapid growth of LoyaltyOne Consulting’s senior team in the past year. Since April, the organization has added five senior-level executives, not including the Partners, and signed contract agreements with several new international clients, including Saks Fifth Avenue, BMW Finance Canada and Visa International.

Both Stephanie and Fred will report to Dennis Armbruster, Managing Partner and Vice President of LoyaltyOne Consulting. Additional insight into the new Partners and their experience includes:

Stephanie Cohen: With 25 years of global industry experience, Stephanie leads the Financial Services Practice, responsible for strategic growth, market awareness, new client acquisition, client retention and new product and services development. Prior to joining LoyaltyOne Consulting, Stephanie worked at MasterCard Worldwide, most recently as a key leader within the MasterCard Advisors group. Before MasterCard, she held senior management positions at U.S. Bancorp and MBNA America. Stephanie is based in Richmond, VA.

Fred Thompson: Fred relies on more than 15 years of marketing experience as head of the Retail Practice, where he is in charge of LoyaltyOne Consulting’s rapidly expanding service offerings in customer-centric retailing and loyalty strategy. Fred and his team of consultants are charged with managing client relationships, new business acquisition and loyalty strategy development. Before joining LoyaltyOne Consulting, Fred held executive-level positions at Digitas, Brierley & Partners and Ogilvy & Mather. His extensive corporate experience includes management roles at Borden Foods, Sears Holdings Corp. and Continental Airlines. Fred is based in Chicago.
