Fluid Helps Diapers.com Parent Deliver Its Second “Baby”

Design Innovations Deliver on Quidsi’s Bold Vision for Soap.com

SAN FRANCISCO, CA, August 18, 2010 -- Digital shopping innovator Fluid, Inc., has again partnered with Quidsi, the parent company of Diapers.com, to deliver a breakthrough shopping experience – this time for Quidsi’s bold new business launch – Soap.com. Previously, Fluid helped Quidsi with a major redesign of Diapers.com, which went on to become the world’s fastest growing retailer.  The complex design challenge for the much anticipated launch of Soap.com was to find effective ways to merchandise the wide variety of product categories and provide an integrated customer experience with the existing Diapers.com site, while not losing their focus on creating a strong new brand out of the gate – and Fluid delivered.

A few key features of Soap.com include “My Lists,” a personalized section to help shoppers organize and remember the items they regularly order; a seamless, shared shopping cart with the Diapers.com site for existing customers; and a robust multi-faceted navigation system for quickly sorting through the tens of thousands of household items in the Soap.com catalog.
