From Auditing to Deployment, Software Upgrade Gives Marketers Full Control.
San Francisco, Aug. 17, 2010 -- Covario, Inc., a leader in search solutions and agency services for Forbes Global 2000 companies, unveiled a significant upgrade to its SEO (search engine optimization) deployment software today at SES-San Francisco, one of the Internet search industry’s premier annual events.
Geared primarily for online marketers at large enterprises, the enhanced Covario Organic Search Optimizer offering not only delivers on the deployment front, but also provides valuable intelligence in the form of a 56-point SEO audit. Recommendations are presented in priority order for each Web page, giving marketers the information they need to take immediate action on those SEO changes (e.g., new linking strategies, content deficiencies, competitive analysis, etc.) that will have the greatest impact on traffic and conversions.
“This is the first end-to-end SEO solution for large global marketers,” says Craig Macdonald, Covario’s senior vice president and CMO. “Essentially, what we’ve developed is an enhancement to existing content management systems that helps marketers move much faster. This is particularly important for multichannel e-commerce companies with brands and products marketed around the world.”
With this latest upgrade, it is easier than ever for marketers to directly run SEO audits, implement changes and manage numerous search campaigns simultaneously. They now have both the control and the flexibility to manage and, when necessary, change thousands of Web pages “on the fly” with minimal development support. For example, SEO mangers can make instant text changes to headlines and sub-heads in individual pages, freeing up valuable IT resources for other enterprise priorities.
“Putting this type of real time intelligence and deployment capability directly into the hands of search marketers is what separates Organic Search Optimizer from other solutions on the market,” Macdonald said.
The new solution also includes hands-on support from Covario to “super optimize” 50 category-defining keywords. This support commitment encompasses advanced link-building services and the introduction of new keyword-driven content – both designed to increase and maintain search engine rankings.
“SEO continues to be a high priority for large advertisers aiming to improve the Web traffic to their online properties,” Macdonald says. “With our upgraded deployment solution laid on top of an existing content management system, we are putting control of SEO back in the hands of marketers so they can manage large scale search programs. Plus, we’ll be providing a defined service component to augment internal efforts and drive faster results.”
This latest offering builds upon the original upgrades Covario made to the deployment software a few months ago. One that has received much interest is multi-language capability, which Lenovo, for example, is already using to great effect for Portuguese Web pages driving PC sales in Brazil.
The Covario Organic Search Optimizer solution is attractive to large multichannel marketers like e-commerce and retail companies, which have thousands of Web pages, hundreds of SKUs and dozens of brands to manage on a global scale. In addition to Lenovo, current users include retailers Cabela’s, Campmor and Northern Tool.
