Converseon Announces Agreement with Twitter for Real-Time Firehose Data

Partnership gives clients access to industry leading real-time social media data.

New York----Converseon, the award winning, full service social media consultancy, announced today that it has entered into a partnership with Twitter for full access to their Firehose which currently consists of more than 80 million Tweets per day. The agreement enables Converseon to infuse the full Twitter dataset into its proprietary Conversation Miner social intelligence technologies that provide robust real time actionable insights to leading brands around the world.

“This special partnership is critically important to ensure a full understanding of the conversations occurring every day driven through social media and help remove any potential blind spots in data coverage that have characterized much of the industry,” says Rob Key, CEO of Converseon. “This is especially important given the continuing explosive growth of Twitter as a key platform for social conversation that can significantly impact brands. Getting real-time access to this data becomes increasingly important; with Twitter as a proxy for the Web’s pulse, brands have to make sure they don’t skip a beat. This partnership significantly strengthens our recognized industry leadership.”

Through this partnership, Converseon can now provide clients with the broadest and most immediate social conversation data coverage available today. The data will be integrated into Converseon’s advanced social intelligence technologies which utilize a combination of human intelligence with advanced machine learning and text analytics to glean meaning and insights from the vast social media conversation, including blogs, newsgroups and more, and distribute them across the enterprise. When combined with Converseon’s management consulting and activation services, social intelligence is increasingly becoming an engine for business process redesign to provide brands with competitive advantage.

Converseon is the only leading provider of Conversation Mining technologies with robust management consulting and activation services designed to provide organizations with an end-to-end social media solution. Converseon was recently cited as a leader by an independent research firm. (The Forrester Wave: Listening Platforms, Q3 2010, Forrester Research, Inc., July 12, 2010).

“This agreement will significantly enhance our ‘listen, operationalize, engage and measure’ solution for our clients, especially in the areas of social CRM, reputation management and brand engagement,” Key adds. “We look forward to working with Twitter Firehose data to help design the next generation of solutions for social intelligence and engagement.”
