Women’s apparel retailer bebe stores inc. has appointed as its president Emilia Fabricant. She is the former president and chief marketing officer of young women`s apparel e-retailer Charlotte Russe.
Among the divisions Fabricant will oversee are online sales, merchandising, design, marketing and retailing planning divisions. She will report to Manny Mashouf, chairman and CEO.
Fabricant has more than 20 years of women’s merchandising experience. Since June, Fabricant has worked as president of multichannel retailer Destination Maternity. Before that, she held various executive-level positions at Charlotte Russe, babystyle, Cadeau Maternity and Barney’s New York.
Bebe, which sells online and through bricks-and-mortar stores, is No. 325 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide.
