Jane Lauder, global president and general manger of Estee Lauder's Origins and Ojon brands
Estee Lauder Cos. Inc. has promoted Jane Lauder to the newly created role of global president and general manager of its Origins and Ojon brands. The brands sell online at origins.com and ojon.com.
Lauder, who is the granddaughter of the company’s namesake and founder, will oversee the overall strategic directions, global development, management and growth of both brands. She will report to Lynne Green, global president, who directs the Clinique, Origins and Ojon brands.
Lauder previously was senior vice president and general manager of the Origins brand, where she helped launch the brand in China. Before joining Origins in July 2008, she was senior vice president, global marketing for Clinique.
“Jane’s dynamic leadership skills, marketing creativity and financial acumen have been critical in growing the Origins brand and are important contributors to the company’s success,” says Green. “She has led strategic innovation to redefine the brand’s positioning in the natural and sustainable beauty brand landscape. Jane’s excellent insights and judgment will continue to expand the Origins brand’s global footprint and strategically develop the Ojon business.”
