Pixazza Launches New Version of Shopdot Service Offering Branded, Hosted Storefronts for Publisher Websites

Storefronts Allow Consumers To Browse Sites By Category, Popularity, Designer or Celebrity

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. — July 1, 2010 — Pixazza, Inc., a web service that is changing the way consumers interact with images on the web, today announced the new version of its Shopdot (shop.pixazza.com) ecommerce offering. Pixazza created Shopdot to provide its growing network of publishers with hosted, branded storefronts designed to showcase the unique looks and styles most popular with its viewers.

Today, Pixazza is rolling out several new features to provide a more engaging and exciting shopping experience for consumers by enabling them to browse by:

  • Popularity - Check out the products most clicked on by other viewers.
  • Designer - View the entire selection from any designer with a single click, whether it’s Puma or Donald Pliner.
  • Products - Shop by category, including bags, shoes, hats, dresses and more.
  • Seen Recently - See the latest looks that have appeared most recently.
  • Seen Frequently – Find new trends by browsing similar looks seen on multiple celebrities.

For publishers, Shopdot storefronts now offer search engine optimization pairing products with the images of people wearing them. These new features provide publishers with an even greater opportunity to increase page views, add incremental e-commerce revenues, re-circulate traffic and create sponsorship opportunities.

"Our publishers consider storefronts an excellent way to further engage their audience by satisfying their viewers' appetite for the latest styles and trends," said Bob Lisbonne, CEO of Pixazza. "The beauty of a Shopdot storefront is that it brings together publisher’s existing images with the products our experts have already selected and presents them in a permanent storefront location."
