Black & Decker today launched an eBay store.

The eBay store, located at http://stores.ebay.com/Black-and-Decker, will serve as an online factory store, selling a mix of new, reconditioned and older models, rather than its latest products. The online store features more than 150 SKUs.

"For more than 20 years, we've been serving customers looking for value through our factory stores," says Cory Sorice, director of direct sales and factory sales. "With the ever-growing popularity of eBay, we believe an online direct store partnership makes perfect sense. Now eBay customers can find our previously launched products easier and more quickly."

The eBay store complements the manufacturer’s traditional sales channels, says Sorice.

“This direct sales approach allows us to focus on managing older product lines, their pricing and service, and gain direct customer feedback that is critical to future product offerings,” he says. “All while ensuring our retail partners can focus on what they do best—selling the newest innovations from Black & Decker."
