Local.com boosts its second quarter and full year forecast

Local.com expects its second quarter revenue to be up 21% from the first quarter.

Local.com Corp., which provides local search results for businesses, products and services, today raised its second quarter and full year financial forecast.

The company says it expects to report second quarter revenue of between $22.3 million and $22.8 million, up from its previous forecast of $20 million to $21 million. In turn, the company says it expects its profits to be between $3.3 million and $3.5 million.

For the full year, Local.com says its revenue will be between $87 million and $90 million, up from its previous projection of $81 million to $84 million.  

“We continue to perform well across our business and remain disciplined in our strategy of focusing on high-growth, high-margin revenue streams within our three business units,” says Heath Clarke, Local.com chairman and CEO.
