The Golf Warehouse customers now can shop the retailer’s complete catalog of products even when they’re out walking the fairway. The merchant has unveiled a fully transactional iPhone app for golfers on the go.

The Golf Warehouse, a brand of Redcats USA, No. 31 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide, created the mobile app as a simple mobile method for researching and buying golf equipment, the company says. This is Redcats USA’s first foray into mobile commerce.

“The majority of our business comes via electronic transactions, which means we need to remain ahead of the technology curve,” says Brad Wolansky, CEO. The easy-to-navigate app was designed to meet the evolving demands of customers, he adds.

The retailer says its next step in m-commerce will be to launch BlackBerry and Android versions of the shopping app.
