Hancock Fabrics hires an Oriental Trading exec to oversee e-commerce

Hancock Fabrics, a specialty fabric and related home sewing and decorating accessories, has named Stacey Gross vice president, e-commerce.

Hancock Fabrics, a specialty fabric and related home sewing and decorating accessories, has named Stacey Gross vice president, e-commerce.

Gross will oversee all aspects of the company’s online merchandising, marketing and operations and will report to CEO Jane Aggers.

Gross previously worked as director of e-commerce merchandising and operations at Oriental Trading Company. She has also worked as director of Internet operations at The Bombay Company and director-merchandising and business operations for KBtoys.com.

"Her broad Internet and e-commerce experience will enable us to deliver the value, quality and style our customers expect, along with online convenience,” says Aggers. “As a key member of our leadership team Stacey will play a significant role as we further our efforts to take a more integrated, multi-channel approach to serving our customers and building our business."

Hancock Fabrics is No. 498 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide.
