ColdwaterCreek.com leads large retailers in high broadband availability

ColdwaterCreek.com ranked first in high broadband availability tests among large retailers for March, says Gomez, the web performance division of Compuware Corp. Last month online shoppers could access the apparel and accessories retailer’s site 94.37% of the time.

The average availability for the top retailers in March was 86.37% for high broadband, 71.98% for low broadband and 51.56% for dial-up, Gomez says.

Rounding out the top five e-retailers for high broadband availability were HPShopping.com (92.59%), OfficeMax.com (92.41%), Dell.com (92.38%) and JCPenney.com (92.33%).

ColdwaterCreek.com also had the most consistent low broadband availability at 86.69%. Peapod.com led the way in dial-up availability with a rating of 84.13%.
