THOROFARE, N.J.--Checkpoint Systems, Inc. (NYSE: CKP) a global leader in shrink management, merchandise visibility and apparel labeling solutions for the retail industry and its supply chain, today announced the appointment of James Wrigley, Group President, Global Customer Management.
Mr. Wrigley recently held a senior executive position with Avery Dennison Corporation’s Retail Information Services business following Avery’s acquisition of Paxar Corporation in 2007. While at Paxar, Mr. Wrigley was most recently responsible for leading its global apparel business and earlier from 1996 to 2006, its businesses in Europe, Middle East and Africa. Previously, he held positions of increasing responsibility with well-known companies in the retail and apparel industries, including Pepe Jeans and Coats plc. His responsibilities have included sales, marketing and manufacturing. He has considerable experience in textiles, printing, labeling, bar-coding and RFID deployment, and has conducted successful acquisitions around the world. Mr. Wrigley is a graduate of Cambridge University.
