E-retailer MusicSkins hires a sales exec

MusicSkins LLC, an online retailer and distributor of decorative coverings for personal electronic devices, has appointed Robert Scarcello as senior vice president of sales for North America.

Scarcello was previously senior vice president of sales and marketing for E1 Entertainment LP, a music, TV and film distributor. Prior to E1, he worked as senior vice president of distribution for TVT Records.

“Rob brings with him a plethora of experience and knowledge,” says MusicSkins cofounder and owner Jed Seifert. “This marks a major step forward for MusicSkins in the retail market in North America.”

MusicSkins distributes its covers to 20 countries and 10,000 retail stores. One of its distributors is E1 Entertainment. The covers can fit such devices as mobile phones, MP3 players and laptops.
