ColdwaterCreek.com had the best web site consistency rating among a group of major retailers in February, according to Gomez, a division of Compuware Corp. ColdwaterCreek.com also had the best site loading time across the measurement period at 19.89 seconds.

Rounding out the top five retailers after ColdwaterCreek.com, Gomez listed CDW.com (20.13 seconds), Amazon.com (20.72), AmwayGlobal.com (20.92) and Dell.com (21.26). In February, 25 of the 48 major retailers tested topped the group’s average consistency rating of 24.11 seconds.

The consistency ratings take into account differences in the speed of web page delivery across multiple visits.
