Pacific Sunwear spotlights a new senior vice president of marketing

Pacific Sunwear of California has named Robert Cameron senior vice president of marketing. Cameron most recently served as vice president of Levi’s brand marketing.

Apparel and accessories retailer Pacific Sunwear of California Inc. has named Robert Cameron senior vice president of marketing.

Cameron will be responsible for ensuring the consistency between the customer experience at PacSun.com and the company’s retail stores, the retailer says.

Cameron most recently served as vice president of Levi’s brand marketing, where he was charged with modernizing the company’s brand strategy and implementing new media strategies. Prior to Levi’s, he was a founding partner and chief creative officer at strategic branding agency Fantascope Inc.

“Robert has a tremendous track record of building brands and creating world-class customer experiences, particularly in the youth segment,” says Gary Schoenfeld, president and CEO at Pacific Sunwear, No. 275 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide (a PDF version of the company’s financial and operating profile can be ordered by clicking on its name). “I look forward to working with Robert and our brand partners to reclaim our position as the favorite place for 15- to 24-year-olds to shop.”
