Shelley Nandkeolyar, a veteran e-commerce executive, has resigned as president and CEO of Blair LLC, which sells apparel at Blair.com.

Nandkeolyar left to pursue other opportunities, says a Blair spokesman. His resignation took effect on Feb. 9.

Nandkeolyar had led Blair since February 2008 after serving as CEO of Norm Thompson Outfitters since February 2007, a Blair spokesman says. Both Norm Thompson and Blair are part of Orchard Brands, No. 59 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide (a PDF version of the company’s financial and operating profile can be ordered by clicking on its name).

Dave Mathews has taken over as interim president and CEO. He previously worked as president of Orchard Brands and as executive vice president for merchandising, services and marketing for Circuit City Stores Inc.

Blair has not a set a timetable for replacing Nandkeolyar permanently. The spokesman said the company will look at both internal and external candidates.
