AlertSite adds two new executives

AlertSite, a company that measures web site performance for web retailers, has named two new members to its executive team.

AlertSite, a company that measures web site performance for web retailers, has named two new members to its executive team.

The company hired Fred Dilkes as senior vice president of sales and client services. He was previously senior vice president of worldwide channels and major accounts at business software provider CDC Software.

In addition, Gary Beerman joins AlertSite as vice president of marketing. He will oversee corporate marketing, product management, product marketing and public relations.

Beerman previously worked as director of worldwide marketing for Concurrent Computer Corp.

AlertSite, which will be exhibiting at the Internet Retailer Conference & Exhibition 2010, measures web site performance, including uptime and page response times, for about 2,300 customers, a company spokeswoman says. Online retailers make up the largest segment of AlertSite’s customer base, she says. With the appointments, AlertSite has boosted its employee count by 40% over the past six months.
