The Men’s Wearhouse Inc. has named Diane Ridgway-Cross senior vice president and chief marketing officer.

Ridgway-Cross previously worked at Mullen Advertising where her responsibilities included campaigns for the T.J. Maxx and Marshalls discount chains, as well as multichannel footwear retailer DSW and toy manufacturer Hasbro Inc.

Ridgway-Cross joins Men’s Wearhouse only a few months after CEO George Zimmer said the company plans to make a deeper commitment to e-commerce and social networking.

"It`s a marketer`s dream to be able to contribute to a brand with such iconic status and such a strong customer base,” says Ridgway-Cross. “It`s an exciting time to join the company and I look forward to working with the entire organization to drive growth across all facets of the business."

Men’s Wearhouse is No. 393 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide (a PDF version of the company’s financial and operating profile can be ordered by clicking on its name).
