IGo Inc., which manufactures and sells power chargers for computers, mobile phones and other electronics devices, has seen a 108% boost in conversion since changing to a new e-commerce platform and redesigning its site last August.

“The site is designed around our business and allows our customers to find the products they need quickly and easily. It also allows us to cross-sell related accessories, something we couldn’t do effectively on our old platform,” says Jason Edwards, director of web marketing at iGo.

IGo.com, which uses Venda Inc.’s software-as-a-service platform, credits the improved search and guided navigation with increasing conversion rates. Moreover, shoppers now view 84% more pages per visit compared to its old site.

Edwards also says the recommendations feature that suggests items related to products in a customer’s shopping cart has helped grow average order values by 5%.
