MyShape.com promotes its chief information officer to president

MyShape.com has named CEO Louise Wannier executive chairman of the board and promoted to president Mercedes De Luca.

MyShape.com has announced two executive appointments. The women’s online fashion retailer named CEO Louise Wannier executive chairman of the board and promoted to president Mercedes De Luca, the company’s global customer experience officer and chief information officer.

As executive chairman of the board, Wannier, who founded the company, will focus on expanding the company’s strategic partnerships and developing new opportunities for the company. De Luca will lead the company’s day-to-day operations.

Prior to joining MyShape, De Luca was part of Yahoo’s global I.T. organization. Before that she was vice president of information technology for Interwoven.

“At this stage of MyShape’s growth, we are executing on a new leadership strategy that more fully leverages the strengths of our executive talent,” said Barry Schuler, a member of MyShape’s board of directors. “With these changes, we are confident that we have the right executive team in place to take the company to the next level and to further strengthen our leadership in the e-commerce, fashion and technology sectors.”
