Jones Apparel Group looks within to find a new chief marketing officer

Jones Apparel Group Inc. has promoted Stacy Lastrina, a 19-year veteran of the company, to chief marketing officer. In her new role, she’ll have oversight responsibility, including for e-commerce, for all Jones brands.

Jones Apparel Group Inc. has promoted Stacy Lastrina, a 19-year veteran of the company, to chief marketing officer. In her new role, she’ll have oversight responsibility, including for e-commerce, for all Jones brands.

Lastrina joined Nine West Group as director of marketing in 1991. Jones acquired Nine West Group in 1999. Most recently, Lastrina had served as executive vice president of marketing and creative services with Jones.

“Stacy has been instrumental in many initiatives across the company, including the launch of JNY Signature, Rachel Roy, the development of Jones New York in the Classroom and Jones Apparel Group Green initiatives, and in other areas to enhance our corporate responsibility. Her energy, enthusiasm and creativity as well as her passion for all of Jones’ brands are key drivers in our success. Stacy is an integral member of our management team and a strategic partner to all divisions,” says Wesley R. Card, president and CEO.

Among Jones’ nationally recognized brands are Anne Klein, Gloria Vanderbilt, Kasper, Bandolino, Evan-Picone, Easy Spirit, Enzo Angiolini and Joan & David.
