To expand the company’s office and warehouse space, luxury brand retailer JomaShop.com has moved its headquarters from Manhattan to Brooklyn. The new location doubles the web-only retailer’s office space and triples its warehouse space, allowing JomaShop.com to increase its 50-person staff by a third, according to a company spokesman.

The goal of the move, says the spokesman, is to increase the number of SKUs, which currently is around 15,000 to include watch brands such as Caterpillar and Police, while also expanding the company’s jewelry and handbag offerings.

The move will also allow the company to double its company’s customer service staff from 13 to 30 for the holiday season. “We already have the cheapest prices,” says the spokesman. “But beyond that, we want to make sure that we’re giving customers the best shopping experience possible.”

The move also allows JomaShop.com, No. 209 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide, to devote more resources to JomaDeals.com, a luxury daily deal site, launched two months ago. While the site currently offers a single deal on a particular watch per day, JomaShop.com hopes to expand that to include sales on such items as high-end handbags, wallets and cufflinks.
