OnlyBusiness.com expands its e-commerce platform for small retailers

The e-commerce platform provider is introducing dozens of new technology features in several areas including search engine optimization, rich media, web analytics, persistent shopping carts and web page design.

OnlineBusiness.com, an e-commerce platform provider, is introducing dozens of new technology features in several areas including search engine optimization, rich media, web analytics, persistent shopping carts and web page design.

The company, which provides hosted e-commerce platforms at pricing starting at $59.95 per month, has introduced 48 new tools and features for developing and marketing web sites.

To improve search engine optimization, for example, it has introduced new tools for adding meta tags on web pages as well as other tools for improving how a web site is crawled by search engine spiders.

Other new features include:

  • An extension of Flash menu controls for managing rich media files;
  • Extended page layout options and a site design wizard;
  • Google Analytics;
  • Shopping cart on every page;
  • Content editor integrated in the online product catalog;
  • Ability to customize drop-down menus and other parts of site navigation.
