Bulbs.com, a web-only retailer of replacement lighting products, has named former Fidelity Investments marketing executive Bryan Trainor as vice president of marketing.

Trainor will oversee the development of bulbs.com’s marketing strategies and execution of advertising and direct response marketing campaigns.

“Bryan`s ability to develop integrated, response-driven online marketing campaigns make him a great addition to our team,” says Mike Connors, CEO of bulbs.com. “Bryan’s online experience and success with brand and marketing strategy development provides us with the right tools to increase our market share in the lighting category in 2010 and beyond."

At Fidelity Investments, where he was a director of mutual funds brand marketing, Trainor developed integrated marketing and advertising plans for Fidelity’s Fixed Income and Index Funds portfolio. Prior to Fidelity, Trainor was a brand manager with The Hartford Financial Services Group and an online product marketing manager for Citizens Bank.

Bulbs.com is No. 441 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide.
