Coldwater Creek heats up response time in June

ColdwaterCreek.com gave shoppers the fastest high broadband access among large web retailers in June at 3.03 seconds, says Gomez Inc.

ColdwaterCreek.com gave shoppers the fastest high broadband access time among large web retailers in June at 3.03 seconds, says Gomez Inc.

QVC.com had the next best response time (4.17 seconds), followed by Dell.com (4.36 seconds), Scholastic.com (4.67 seconds) and AmwayGlobal.com (4.77 seconds). For shoppers using a dial-up connection, Coldwater Creek provided the fastest web site response time at 27.35 seconds.

In May, a shopper with a high broadband connection could access a Top 50 retailer’s web site in an average time of 7.10 seconds, compared with 24.21 seconds for a low broadband connection and 59.71 seconds for dial-up.
