25-year information technology industry veteran Seth Levy will oversee all technology functions for the company.
Lumber Liquidators has named Seth Levy senior vice president of information technology and chief information officer. A 25-year veteran of information technology management, Levy was most recently executive vice president and CIO of Movie Gallery/Hollywood Entertainment.
In his new role he’ll oversee all technology functions for the company, reporting to Jeffrey Griffiths, president and chief executive officer. “We expect that his management and leadership skills, as well as his expertise in the retail sector, will be valuable in helping our company to realize additional operational efficiencies and further improve our execution as we aim to grow our store base and expand our market share,” Griffiths says.
Earlier in his career, Levy was with retailer Electronics Boutique for eight years. There, he held several leadership roles and eventually served as senior vice president and chief information officer. He began his career at May Department Stores, where he held a variety of positions over his 17-year tenure.
