Coldwater Creek tops in February response time

At 3.49 seconds, ColdwaterCreek.com gave shoppers the fastest high broadband access time among big web retailers in February, says Gomez Inc.

ColdwaterCreek.com was followed by Dell.com (3.57 seconds), QVC.com (4.01 seconds) and OfficeDepot.com (4.36 seconds). Using a dial-up connection, ColdwaterCreek.com also provided the fastest site response time at 29.06 seconds.

In February, a shopper with a high broadband connection could access a Top 50 retail site in 6.76 seconds, compared with 21.57 seconds for a low broadband connection and 50.48 seconds for dial-up.
