King Arthur Flour has promoted Halley Silver to director of e-commerce. Silver joined King Arthur Flour in September 2007 as web marketing project manager. She has overseen the growth of King Arthur Flour’s web site and the team of employees who manage it.

“Halley has led the revolution we have seen on our site. This includes everything from our new recipes site to the overall design, look and feel of the site; the creation of our blog; ongoing e-commerce enhancements; and much, much more,” says Karen Colberg, vice president and general manager of direct channels for King Arthur Flour, which traces its history to 1790.

Silver is speaking at the Internet Retailer Conference & Exhibition, June 15-18, 2009, in Boston in a session entitled Creating outstanding design on a budget. King Arthur Flour was named an Internet Retailer Hot 100 web site in December.
