Bulbs.com, an online lighting retailer, has promoted Michael Connors to chief executive officer. Connors has been with Bulbs.com since shortly after its formation in 1999. He has been vice president of sales and marketing since 2002.
Connors succeeds founder Steven Rothschild who is leaving the company.
The Worcester, MA-based company serves 84,000 commercial customers operating 240,000 locations in the hospitality, retail, property-management, healthcare, manufacturing and municipal sectors.
Connors has worked in sales and marketing for Boston Retail Products and Avery Dennison.
