Boomj, which provides a variety of e-commerce services, has changed its name to Beyond Commerce Inc. It’s also changed its stock ticker symbol to BYOC. The company says it will continue to trade on the Over the Counter Bulletin Boards.

"Our change of name better reflects the nature and scope of our business. Over the past year we have re-aligned our business, focusing more on e-commerce and local advertising to be highly competitive and effective in the current market. The new ticker symbol and name appropriately represents our businesses and brand," the company says in a release.

Late last year, the company launched LocalAdLink, an online advertising service enabling local businesses to reach customers in their areas. The business listings created on LocalAdLink.com are populated through both owned and operated web sites and third-party affiliates including photography.com, tarot.com and davesgarden.com. LocalAdLink also works with search engines to allow local business owners to be displayed in searches targeted by ZIP code.
