Amadesa names new CEO while giving former CEO new job

The web site testing and personalization vendor has named Rita Brogley CEO. David Efergan, co-founder and formerly CEO and president, will continue serving as president as well as chief strategy officer.

Amadesa has named Rita Brogley CEO. David Efergan, co-founder and formerly CEO and president, will continue serving the web site testing and personalization vendor as president and also assumes the role of chief strategy officer. In addition, Brogley will join the board of directors.

Brogley joined Amadesa earlier this year as a senior executive, leading marketing and business development and overseeing product management. She has served as CEO of Moxi Digital (acquired by Digeo) and in senior management positions at Microsoft, WebTV, Bain and Co., and Hewlett-Packard.

“Amadesa has grown very rapidly and, therefore, needed an executive who could scale the company to become a world-class category leader,” says Shlomo Dovrat, general partner and co-founder of Carmel Ventures. “Rita has the vision, experience and skills necessary to accelerate the expansion of Amadesa’s business and provide long-term value for clients.”
