Gamestop may market fun and games, but the e-retailer’s traffic growth was serious in October. More than 3 million unique visitors checked out the online merchant’s video game selection that month, helping it secure sixth place among e-retailers in Nielsen’s computer and consumer electronics destination category. Meanwhile, traffic to eBay Electronics and eBay Computers fell 43% and 40%, respectively.
The Top 10 computer and consumer electronics sites in October, ranked by unique visitors in millions this September and last, with year-over-year growth, according to Nielsen Online, were:

- eBay Electronics, 5.50, 9.63, -43%
- OSTG, 3.97, 4.53, -12%
- TigerDirect.com, 3.61, 3.73, -3%

- eBay Computers, 2.67, 4.44, -40%
- Canon, 2.10,1 .54, 36%
- Sony, 2.03, 2.20, -8%
(Unique visitors count only once each shopper who came to a site, no matter how many times that shopper visited.) Rankings may contain multiple web sites from the same retailer or manufacturer.
