Scholastic.com tops the response time honor roll

In November, Scholastic.com generated a high broadband Internet backbone response time of 0.98 seconds, to lead all top 50 e-retailers, according to measurements from Gomez Inc. Scholastic was followed by QVC.com at 1.12 seconds.

In November, Scholastic.com generated a high broadband Internet backbone response time of 0.98 seconds, to lead all top 50 e-retailers, according to measurements from Gomez Inc.

Gomez analyzed availability and response time from the Internet’s distribution network, or backbone, which is another way for retailers to monitor web site performance.

Scholastic was followed by QVC.com at 1.12 seconds, Dell.com at 1.21 seconds, Officedepot.com at 1.19 seconds, Avon.com at 1.32 seconds, Newegg.com at 1.38 seconds, and ColdwaterCreek.com at 1.38 seconds.
