Cooking.com has hired Mark Duvall as vice president of technology. Duvall joins Cooking.com from Wolters Kluwer where he led a team developing large-scale enterprise applications. He has more than 20 years experience in computer technology, including at CyberDefender, Kofax, Hiwire, Quarterdeck and Symantec.
“Mark Duvall will be the driving force behind Cooking.com`s technology, providing leadership and strategic vision for a competitive advantage in the marketplace,” says Bryan Handlen, chief operating officer.
Cooking.com, No. 165 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide, operates five branded web sites: Cooking.com, FoodNetworkStore.com, StarbucksStore.com, PillsburyStore.com and BettyCrockerStore.com. Investors include Azure Capital Partners, Idealab, Clearstone Venture Partners, Starbucks Corp. and Orix Venture Finance.
